Greg for Model Number WFW9450WW00 I forgot to mention on my previous question with the loud noise on spin cycle until rpm is reached that the tub is on a soild tile cement floor. I also checked the inner tub for play, when I hold the outer tub stationary the inner tub spins freely in either direction with no side to side or up and down movement, it does sound like some change is rattling around at lower rpm till it stops pretty sure it is the baffles since you canmove them a bit. When I spin it by hand really fast it is nice and smooth with no odd noises.
Answer Greg, You will want to check the shock absorbers to make sure that they are good. If the bearings are bad the unit will not make noise during spinning the tub by hand. It is still possible that the bearings could be bad. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Tuesday, February 17, 2015
