Tom E for Model Number LSC9000PW2 Have the agitator out, having trouble separating the upper from the lower. There are 4 plastic tabs just above the dog assembly that are bent over. I think this is what is keeping the parts from coming separating. Should I take a Dremel tool & grind some of the tabs down to help separate the agitator pieces? What is the P/N for the part with the protruding tabs in case I need to replace that part?
Answer Tom, Set the agitator on the floor and place your feet on either side. Once you do this you will then pull straight up on the top of the agitator. This should allow it to release.
