Marie for Model Number LSQ8543JQ How the heck do you separate the top part of agitator from bottom. Standing on it and pulling up does not do it. Three of us have tried. (all three together doesn't work either!!!!) Please help!
Answer Hello Marie. These can be tight. Based on the model number you provided, you will stand on the agitator and jerk upward on the top part of the agitator. There are plastic tabs under the top portion holding it to the bottom part. Make sure the bolt is removed from the center of the agitator holding it to the shaft inside the tub.
