Rick for Model Number AP3094543 I watched your video and ordered the part needed to correct a failing top agitator. I removed the fabric dispenser and dust (!) cap. I removed the center bolt with a bit of elbow grease! My issue is I cannot get the old short cam agitator OUT! I have used long slip joints with heavy twisting pressure and it wont even budge. I am afraid I will break something if I try to pull harder or force it out. Am I missing something? In the video, the old assembly falls out easily. This is far from that! I think it was put in with super glue! (this washing machine has been great and except for a bad lid switch it has never needed or been serviced) Please advise before my wife gets home....
Answer Rick, For this issue it would most likely be detergent build up that may be holding the piece in place. May sure that you separate the upper and lower agitator and see if it will come loose.
