Gus for Model Number LA5550XPW3 My washer model is LA5550XPW3. I just bought a new top agitator AP2906586. In order to secure the top agitator to the bottom agitator, I also bought bolt AP3046456. While agitator dogs don't seem to be needed, I believe I need the agitator dog CAM so that the bolt can secure both agitators together. Do I need the short CAM or the medium CAM? Also, do I need the thrust washer (AP3094463) or is it not necessary? Thank you.
Answer Gus, according to your appliance model number the agitator only comes available as a fully assembled item as part number 387838. The onyl part available separate from this agitator is the filter WP63753, cap WP3355758, and bolt WP358237. The manufacturer does not offer the cam separate from the agitator assembly.
