Chuck S for Model Number LSQ8000HQO Trying to remove bolt part #AP3046456 by holding agitator but am finding it extremely hard to remove--I'm afraid of breaking bolt off if I apply too much pressure. Any suggestions for easy removal? I sprayed some penetrating oil inside & am letting it soak in hopes that it will help loosen the bolt.
Answer Chuck, Hopefully the penetrating oil will help, but don't count on it. You could try tapping down on the socket wrench, while you're turning the wrench counterclockwise. This may help the "break" the loctite and allow you to remove the bolt. Otherwise, you'll need to drill it out, or use a blot extractor as the first attempt. Thanks and Good Luck Read More...
