Ca for Model Number KBFS25EWMs5 How do you replace the slides in a Kitchenaid KBFS25EWMS5. The black part with a spring is broken on my slides.
Answer CA, You'll have to remove the freezer bins from the drawer and side wall brackets, then loosen the four(4) bracket screws that hold the drawer front to the rails and remove the panel. Pull the drawer slide rails out as far as possible. Approximately 2/3 of the way back, or just in front of the drawer closer assembly, you'll see a white plastic tab protruding through the center of the rail/slide. Carefully press in on the tab, and pull the rail/slide out towards the front of the refrigerator. Reverse the procedure to install the new rail/slide(s). Read More...
