Answer Hi Tom.There is the ice door chute arm that holds the flapper closed onto the chute opening. The spring strattles this arm with both openings at the top. There is a metal pin that goes sideways into the spring and through the top of this arm. There is a ice door kit that will insure that you have proper operations of the chute flap.
