Richard for Model Number mvwc200bwo Off of the main outer plastic tub there are four suspension rods with springs at the bottom, the unit is banging against the cabinet sides when in use. Is there a better picture of the bottom of the tub where the springs sit? As there is a cone type of cap which seems to just float on the rod above the spring, it appears to serve no purpose. I am wondering if it is broken out of the housing ( as all four rods have this cone and are the same. These rods and springs are the only thing that can dampen the tub movement, I see no way to tighten them up to further dampen tub movement? Thanks In Advance...
Answer Richard, On the suspension rod at the bottom there is a piece that the suspension spring sits on then there is a black cone looking piece then a white cap looking plastic piece that should be on it. If there is anything different than this then the rod would be bad. You will want to check the tub ring to ensure that there is solution in the ring as this is a balancer. Also check the rotor and stator to make sure that there are no breaks in the magnets. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Wednesday, January 7, 2015
