The Suspension Bearing Kit is an OEM part for Whirlpool washing machines. It is designed to support the tub assembly and ensure smooth, stable operation during the wash cycle. The kit includes bearings and other components that help absorb vibrations and reduce noise, contributing to the longevity and efficiency of the machine. The 8-piece set has 4 types of suspension rod supports made of strong plastic and about 1.5 inches in diameter.

Symptoms of a bad Suspension Bearing Kit include:

  • Unusual noise during the spin cycle,
  • Excessive vibration or "walking" of the washer,
  • The washing machine drum sagging or appearing off-balance.

Causes of suspension bearing failure often involve wear and tear from regular use, overloading of the machine, or inadequate maintenance leading to deterioration of parts.

This OEM part is also compatible with Maytag, KitchenAid, Jenn-Air, Amana, Magic Chef, Admiral, Norge, Roper, and Kenmore models.

Hello BB. There is 2 screws in the hinges on the back. Only remove the top screw on each side. Leave the lower one. Then pull the top forward and lift to raise the top of the unit. Once inside, you will lift the tub assembly and remove the suspension from the bottom, then the top and change the parts 1 at a time. Do not try to replace all 4 at the same time. Thanks.
