Cajun Man for Model Number WTW6300SW0 I'm getting the ul code during spin cycle. The machine is not making any noise, except for the basket slamming the side of the tub. It always seems to hit the same front corner, leading me to believe my suspension rod(s) could be the culprit. Other than that the machine works fine. This seems to be a common issue in 5-7 year old machines. My question is, is there any way to check the rods. Other than the plastic hanger parts the only other part that could seem to go bad would be ther spring. Can you tell me what the compresion force should be on these springs? I just would like to be sure the rods are bad before ordering and changing them.
Answer Cajon man, Unfortunately we do not have a compression rating for the springs on the rods. The rods could be the culprit but you will also want to check the stator to make sure that it is not damaged in any way as the stator being damaged could cause the unit to get off balance.
