Chuckb for Model Number WTW6600SW1 I just replaced the suspension rods on my Whirlpool WTW6600SW1 machine with kit # W10820048. It now goes out of balance worse than it did before the replacement. Any ideas ? Thanks ... Chuck
Answer Chuck, You did install the complete kit(including the bushings and sockets)? You didn't apply any lubricant to the sockets and shims? and everything is "seated" and attached properly to the tub and cabinet suspension apron? Is the washer level in both directions and all four feet are on solid flooring. Then check the center bolt on the motor rotor, and make sure it is as tight as possible and check the cabinet(especially the bottom edge) to make sure it hasn't gotten dented, bent or deformed. The last check would be to remove the wash basket and check the W10820039 Drive Hub for debris, detergent or fabric softener, etc. and distortion of the hub "teeth". If the tub cannot reset on the drive hub properly it can "wobble" and go off balance in the spin cycle. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Thursday, March 5, 2020
