Answer Hello Mykey. The first thing to do is to remove the power. Remove the front panel. Then Look up under the front of the top and remove the 2 3/8" lt. and rt. corner bolts. Remove the front cover panel under the controls. This will allow the access to the switch assy. It may be easier to lift the lid assy. off the top. You just need to make sure that you do not loose the lid hinge balls as they will poop off and fly out. This makes it easier to remove the switch assy as the lid out of balance lever will not engage the switch mechanics. Just use a dab of grease on the ball when replacing the lid. Put the balls on the lid and work one corner at a time. Use a felt marker on the old switch body to mark where it goes. This will quickly help the realignment of the new one (a critical step).
