Qumars for Model Number Maytag Neptune MAH4000 AWQ Hi, I use this machine about once a month. It got a little louder over time. At times, I started adding extra water manually with a pitcher (I think it doesn't put enough water to the load) it has started to make a bit of screeching noise for a moment or two and then goes away. However, the main question I have is that now it stops in middle of the wash cycle, rinse or spin. No lights comes up. All I have to do is to push the START button and picks up where it was left off. Some times it happens two attempts and sometimes it doesn't even happen. But as time is passing by and it is used more frequent, the problem is getting worse. So, given the random and seldom screeching noise and increase frequency of the cycle not completing the task and requiring the START button to be pushed: 1- should I start with the door switch sensor or a different switch or the mother board? 2- How can I reduce/prevent the noise? Thank you in advance for your time to read and responding to me.
Answer Hello Qumars. You are describing 2 different issues here with 2 different parts needed. For the noise, it needs the rear outer tub 22004465 for the bearings and for the board issue, you need to replace the CCU WP22002989 on the unit. Read More...
