Mike for Model Number TC900QPDB0 My trash compactor will not stop when it reaches the top.I replaced the top limit directional switch and that did not fix my problem.I can make it stop when I hit the off switch in the front. What should I do?
Answer Hello Mike. Check and see if the switch assembly WP9871140 is bad and is sending power to the motor until the off button is selected. If so, you will need to replace the switch assembly. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter.
