Ashley M. for Model Number wfr990slam00 Replaced the flipper switch once and plugged back into the power supply. The lights work until I shut the door again and it stopped working after that. The door also says it’s still open. What else could be wrong? Led lights also flutter when I keep the door open and just press the flipper switch.
Answer Hello Ashley, If your model number is actually WRF990SLAM00 you will need to check the wiring harness at the door hinge and the door switch. This could also a possible power supply issue on the main-board that supplies power to the dispenser board. To eliminate this as a possibility, you can use a test meter at J2-4 or J5-1 to ground for 14Vdc. If this voltage is not there, the main board or wiring are in question. Read More...
