Answer

Terri, This issue sounds like it would be caused by a sticking contact in the timer. After the agitation the unit would go into the drain, if the contact is stuck it will send power to both sides of the winding of the motor and will cause the motor to buzz and click off. By moving the timer it would allow the contact to free up and operate but sounds like a new timer is needed. The part number for the timer is WP8577356.
