Maritza for Model Number LSQ9010WP2 I was doing laundry and the machine filled to the size of my load. Then is stopped working. We replaced the timer thinking it would correct the issue. Now the machine only fills with water and does not stop and move through the cycle. Has the lid switch gone bad? If we replace it will it work properly?
Answer Hello Maritza. If the washer does not agitate, drain, or spin, it could be a bad lid switch WP95405. The switch should read closed for continuity when the lid is closed. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. Hope this helps. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html Read More...
