Deric for Model Number WTW5550SQO I am trying to remove the water level switch. On several videos it says that there is a locking tab that I use to unloosen the switch. I don't see a switch, so I'm not sure on how to begin to unloosen the switch? I don't want to break anything.
Answer Deric, Yes there is a "locking tab" that is mounted to the front of the switch assembly. Once you have the wires labeled, and detached from the switch, disconnect the air tube from the stub on the switch housing. You'll need a small flat blade screw driver (1/8 in. blade) between the locking tab and the metal mounting plate. You need to pry out on the tab until the locking pin disengages the mounting plate, and turn the switch assembly counter clockwise(left) to release it from the plate. reverse the procedure to install the new switch.
