Answer

Sam, this model is designed to use the cold water valve even when set to hot and the water will be cooler than what would be expected. If the water temperature is more than 15°F cooler from the water heater temperature setting, the thermister of the valve assembly W11038689 would need to be tested for resistance. It should measure 62K Ohms at 68°F, 50K Ohms at 77°F, 40K Ohms at 86°F, and 33K Ohms at 95°F. If the thermistor tests good, then the main control W11498190 would be the likely failure.
