Curtis for Model Number LEC6848AN1 My electric dryer recently started running but had no heat. So I ordered replacement parts #439180 (heating element) part #3392519 (thermal fuse) & part # 3387134 ( cycling thermostat) . After installing each of these parts the dryer is still not producing any heat what else could be wrong?
Answer Hello Curtis. You need to make sure there is 240 volts at the terminal block on the unit. If so, then you need to check the thermal cut off kit 279769 and see if it is bad in the unit. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3.
