Help4afriend for Model Number whirlpool dryer LER4434AQ0 After replacing the fuse and thermostat, the heating element turns on and gets hot when turning on the timer(even WITHOUT pushing start button). Is it possible this was actually the real problem which caused the fuse to blow and burn the thermostat? Also, can you help with the cause for the element to turn on by just setting the timer and without actually pushing the start button. Note: The element does NOT stay on consistently nor comes on and gets hot until timer is turned. Hope someone can help!!! Thanks!!!
