Tim for Model Number MEDB880BW0 The dryer wouldn't turn on so I replaced the thermal fuse a couple of months ago and it worked fine. The same thing has now happened again. I also cleaned out everything and checked the vent line as well and nothing is blocked. What else could be causing the dryer to blow the thermal fuse every couple of months?
Answer Tim, The most likely cause for the issue with the thermal fuse blowing is a restricted duct but with the duct being clean would most likely be a cycling thermostat or thermistor which ever the unit will have. Yours would have a thermistor part number WP8577274. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Tuesday, September 19, 2017
