Danny for Model Number WGD7400XW0 My gas dryer start ok, heat up ok but after 5 minutes cycle 50 minutes auto adjust to 10 minutes, clothes not dry. It took 3 or 4 cycles to dry clothes. We checked vent line clear, Dryer Lint Filter clean. We changed gas vales and flame sensor still the same problem. Why the time of cycle 50mins change to 10mins after 5mins? What is the next part do we need to change?. Thank you so much for your reply.
Answer Hello Danny, the control board is not seeing wet clothes hitting the dry sense bars and thinks the clothes load is dry, and goes into Cool Down mode. Check the sensor bars are intact and clean them with a little alcohol on a paper towel, if still the same then check the wires attached to the sensor bars and follow them back to the control board looking for any wire problems, if they check ok then the sense circuit in the main control board may have failed..
