Cody for Model Number WGD9200SQ0 I have a gas dryer, which I cleaned inside and out to increase the airflow. When i set the dryer to the highest temperature, the igniter glows and the flame starts for a couple minutes and reaches 168 degrees, then shuts off. At 114 degrees the igniter starts, then at 108 degrees the gas ignites until it reaches 168 degrees. This was monitored at the rear exhaust with a simple thermometer. It continues this cycle throughout the drying process. Is this related to the thermistor? Everything appears to check out fine.
Answer Cody, This is the natural design of the unit as the unit has a cycling thermostat that will allow the unit to cycle off and on. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Wednesday, December 11, 2013
