Mike for Model Number whirlpool wed6200sw1 Hi I'm trying to track a problem on a whirlpool Cabrio dryer. The problem is a lot of clothes come out extremly wrinkled. We just replaced the thermal fuse cause it was missing/bypassed. We purchased this unit used and werent aware of the thermal fuse missing till we started having problems. After installing the new thermal fuse it worked fine for a week then it blew. I'm thinking it is the thermister , allowing the dryer to run too hot, causing the fuse to blow. I removed the thermister and it reads 15k ohms. It says it should read 10k , so is this my problem? Thanks Mike
Answer Hello Mike. The thermistor is testing bad. However, if it blows again, you will need to replace the control board WPW10111617 on the unit. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Friday, December 13, 2013
