Michele for Model Number 11095081401 My Kenmore Elite dryer reads "E1" on the screen. I believe the thermister went out. How hard is it to replace it?
Answer Hello Michele. Disconnect the power to the unit. To replace the thermister WP8577274, you will need to remove the toe panel of the machine. The thermister is located on top of the blower housing. You will disconnect the wires going to the thermister and remove the screws holding it in place.
