Jeff for Model Number GEW9200LL2 My dryer blew a belt so I followed your video and was back up and running pretty quick. However, once everything was up and running the heater would not work and there was no error codes listed. I located the troubleshooting guide that came with the dryer and traced back to a connector that got pulled off on the heater relay. I put that back on and the dryer was spinning and heating as expected but about 5 minutes into a fresh load of wet clothes I get the E1 error code. I don't get it, I went through all the checks, all the components check out per the manufacture recommendations??? What could be the problem? Could I have damaged the controller card? If you have any advice I would appreciate it. Also, as a last ditch effort I removed the power cable from the socket hoping if I let it completely de-energize maybe it will work properly in the morning.
Answer Hello Jeff. THERMISTOR OPEN. You need to check and see if you knocked the wires off the thermistor installing the belt. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Monday, May 16, 2016
