Stephen Clark for Model Number Whirlpool Duet Dryer Model WED9400STO My 9 yrs old Whirlpool Duet Dryer Model WED9400STO stopped heating. I discovered that the heater element was broken. I replaced the heater element, thermal cut-off, Inlet Thermistor/High Limit Thermostat Assembly, Thermal fuse, and Outlet Thermistor. After a thorough cleaning, I power the unit on and everything appears to be working fine, including heating. After a short time the unit now cuts off displaying a F22 code. This code has never appeared before. Since the Outlet Thermistor is new and reads 12.43 Kohms, any idea as to the problem and a possible solution approach? Thanks,
Answer Stephen, the error code F-22 is an outlet thermistor open error code. make make sure the wiring is correct. If the resistance is correct then you would need to replace the main control. WPW10110641 Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Tuesday, July 3, 2018
