Jay for Model Number GEW9868KQ2 Trying to replace thermistor # AP6013514 The video shows a duet dryer and mine is a whirlpool with the tilt down door. How do I take the front off to get the old thermistor?
Answer Jay, to remove the front panel, use a putty knife and there should be a clip located on both sides of the front panel, in between the front panel and the door. It will fold down and then you should be able to access the thermister on top of the blower housing. You should be able to use a small 1/4 inch socket to remove the nuts on the thermistor.
