Scott for Model Number GGW9200LQ0 I have a Whirlpool Duet gas dryer. I tested the thermistor. I had the setting in the Voltmeter at 20k and it read 17.11. Is this too high? Should I change the thermistor? The dryer does not heat clothes that need to go through about three cycles before they dry. Thank you
Answer Hello Scott, The thermistor should have read within 10% of 10KO. If it read 17.11KO, it is out of tolerance and should be changed. Also, if the unit is taking that long to dry you should make sure the exhaust duct is clear from the rear of the dryer to the outside atmosphere. Read More...
