Edward for Model Number GEW9200LWO Machine runs, then flashes a code F3E2 check thermistor showing 9400 ohms.
Answer Edward, with the power supply cord unplugged, it would be recommended that the thermistor is tested from the main control WP8546219 as this will allow the identification of if the failure is a wire issue or a main control issue. The red wire with a white stripe and the black wire immediately next to it at connection P2 will be used. If the resistance shows the same, the failure is in the main control (unfortunately, the main control has been discontinued and is no longer available). If the resistance shows 0 or OL, the failure is in one of the wires. Unfortunately, the main harness 8299926 has been discontinued but it could possibly be repaired using a hi-temp connector if the wires do not have a loose connection. Read More...
