Gl for Model Number 11060882990 When temp is tested at rear of dryer it exceeds 185 degrees f on high . High limit switch appears to be working,t the no heat setting Works . The (heat turns on) within the 10 to 15 deg but the temps are way hotter than should be at heat settings
Answer Gl, You're on the right track, Your exhaust temperature, with the vent system disconnected and the drum empty, should average 155 dgrs.F. Check and make sure the lint filter and housing is clear of lint and debris. Check and clear any lint or debris tht has accumulated in the blower housing and wheel, then replace the thermistor.
