Scott for Model Number wgd6200sw0 I have a whrilpool cabrio dryer it heats up somewhat, I have to turn it on 2 or 3 times before everything gets dry. I just replaced the Thermal Cut Off switch its wasn't heating up at all I used the Thermal Cut - Off Kit, now it heats up but dosen't dry.What do you think?
Answer Hello Scott. It sounds like the venting system is clogged or kinked. You will need to check the vent and clean it out. Be sure and clean the vent pipe and the dryer air duct assembly. If the air flow is not good, the unit will retain moist air causing the clothes not to dry. Try running the unit with the vent unhooked from the back of the dryer and see if the dryer works properly.
