Andrei for Model Number KESA907PSS00 When I turn the front left burner on (single or dual setting) the burner will come on for a second then shut off, then come on, then shut off... etc etc etc... Sometimes it comes on and holds temperature but more often than not it'll just click back and forth. It started with one medium setting not holding temperature and then began the clicking. Wondering if that it the switch or the thermal limiter in the surface element or something else. The rest of the burners work with no problems. Thanks.
Answer Andrei, the switch can be tested at the terminal using the orange wire (with black tracer stripe) for 120VAC to ground with a voltmeter. Disconnect the wire with the range unplugged from the outlet and secure the wire so that it does not touch anything. From there, the range would be plugged back in and the switch would be turned on to the dual heat setting. If the terminal stops sending 120VAC when the burner clicks off, the switch has failed. If it does not stop sending 120VAC, the element W10823692 has failed. Unfortunately, the infinite switch kit W10307362 has been discontinued by the manufacturer and is no longer available.
