Cypress Mill for Model Number PYE2300AYW Maytag Performa Dryer model # PYE2300AYW. I am wanting to change out the tstat cycle part or cycling thermostat; however, in online research all directions say to remove the back panel of the dryer. This model does not have a back panel to remove. Where is this part located on this model of dryer? I am needing step by step instructions on how to get to the area to replace old thermostat? Thanks!
Answer Hello Cypress Mill. Use a flat blade and release the clips under the front corners of the top panel and lift the top of the unit. Then remove the screws securing the front panel and unplug the door switch. Remove the front panel from the unit.
