Robert F, The thermostat can be removed by removing the control box from the ice maker mold. Remove the two Phillips screws from the control box and then pull the housing free from the mold. The thermostat can then be removed. Press in the new thermostat making sure the pins are indexed as they were removed. Be sure to use new thermal bonding material such as Alumilastic Cement WP4317852.
