Claude for Model Number 8203538 Infinite Switch I just bought a replacement infinite switch for my KitchenAid Superba stove and the replacement part was a 8203538 infinite switch. The installation instructions say that I'm supposed to attach the provided jumper between terminals P1 and S1, however my switch came without this jumper cable. What does this jumper cable do and would it be safe to operate the stove without this jumper in place? Should I return the part and get them to replace it with one that comes with the jumper?
