Tony K for Model Number ED5RHAXNQ00 I cannot figure out how to remove the evaporator tray for cleaning. I tried removing the front grill as in past refrigerators I have had, but it is clearly blocked from removal from the front and back.
Answer Tony, The drip tray is does not have to be taken out to clean but if you want to clean it then you would access from the front. You will first need to pull the unit out and turn off the water supply. Once off you will remove the kickplate in the front and remove the filter housing. Once the filter housing has been completely removed you will be able to pull the drip tray out. Make sure that the tape on the front and back are removed as this will cause the pan to crack when pulling it out if it is not removed. Read More...
