Bob Threm for Model Number Whirlpool ED5LVAXVB00 The fridge and freezer sides started warming up. Inspection showed the compressor was not running, very hot to the touch. Unplug it for 30 min and plugged it back in. Compressor makes sound for about 10-15 sec then CLICK, nothing. Does this every 3 min or so. I pulled the start relay combo and shook it, nothing rattling. I checked the resistance across the compressor taps and they're 10 ohms or less. I've confirmed there's 120 VAC on the power line to the start relay / compressor. All signs point to the start relay combo, but I'm concerned since it's rattling it's not the problem. Thoughts?
