Holly for Model Number WED8300SW0 The front panel w/ Controls was "loose". Then the other day it would not start. I loosened the duct tape to find that one of the wires was loose & broken off. I could see where it had "broken off" and when touched o that small solder point, it DID start the dryer. Tried this for about 3-4 times [as I had tons of wet wash to dry!], but now it does nothing. What do I need to replace for this to work properly?
Answer Hello Holly, If this WP8571955 is the part with the broken wire, it will most likely need to be replaced since soldering on the board without proper grounding equipment fore the soldering iron will normally shoot the board.
