Wayne, it would be recommended that the water lines through the refrigerator are inspected for any of the residue that would have came out of the dispenser. If there is not a residue, then the water filter EDR1RXD1 would need to be changed as this may have been some of the charcoal escaping the filter. This can potentially happen if the filter is older and the charcoal is starting to break down. An older filter can cause water to drip through the dispenser as it does not allow pressure to properly be distributed.
