Patrick for Model Number GSF26C5EY00 Follow up question regarding inlet valves on Whirlpool french door refrigerator. I checked the water flow of the connectors under the freezer door, and water was only a trickle (about as much as was coming from the door. This leads me to believe the problem was the dual inlet valve (as the single inlet valve had good flow when I did the same test). I ordered the dual valve (WPW10258562) and swapped it out, now no water comes out of the door. I swapped the old part back in to make sure I wasn't doing something wrong, and water slowly came out (as initially experienced). I did this twice with the same results, is it safe to assume the part I received was defective?
