William for Model Number MGD9026AWW I have a maytag dryer, the flame turns on for around 10 mins. then goes off and doesn't come back on until you shut the unit down and turn it back on. I've replaced: flame sensor, hi limit therm. , cycling therm., coils, ignitor and thermal fuse.
Answer William, At this point, would have to suspect that you're loosing the neutral leg of the heat circuit through the motor centrifugal switch or wires. When the dryer is running, the motor switch heat circuit (blue and black wires) closes and complete the circuit to the neutral leg of the dryer cord. if the switch circuit opens, or if the blue or black wire have a loose or frayed connection the circuit "opens" and there'd be no power through the gas valve, and there'd be no ignition or heat.
