Parvez Whirlpool model WGD5300VW0. Just replaced the thermal fuse. Burner comes on making a noise briefly less than 10 seconds and turns off. And after a bit comes ob again. Please advise.
Answer Hello Parvez, the burner is cycling on the high limit thermostat, this is will happen if the airflow is disrupted or blocked in some way, the blower is pulling air into the burner assembly keeping the flame centered in the duct , up the heater duct into the drum, thru the drum thru the lint filter into the blower housing and pushed out the exhaust, if the airflow is disrupted the burner flame will cause the hi-limit thermostat to trip, turning off the burner then once is cools and resets allows the burner to restart.
