Steve for Model Number 51254103 Ice maker is not making ice, I don't think it's getting water, I get water from the dispenser in the door & the motor turns to dispense the ice,I see the ice striper turn but no ice comes out. Do I need to replace the solenoid valve ,or is there something else that could cause this problem ?
Answer Steve, You will want to check to make sure that the fill tube is not frozen. If the fill tube is frozen then you will need to clear the fill tube and replace the valve. If the fill tube is not frozen then you will want to pull the motor module off the icemaker and check for burn marks on the back of the module.
