Chris for Model Number KFIS27CXMS5 Ice maker still makes and drops ice. But then as the ice maker is re-filling with water we have water pouring out of the ice maker and down the left side of the refrigerator. It does shut off after a few seconds, but not until a lot of water has run down the inside left wall of the fridge. Do you think it is the valve?
Answer Hello Chris. Test and see if the water valve is still running water after the power stops. If so, replace the valve. If not, replace the icemaker. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3.
