Ed for Model Number GI7FVCXXY00 Just replaced leaking water inlet valve(directly connected to water supply Line). Ice maker made a a couple of batches of ice (also dripped a bit) then stopped (stopped dripping too). About 48 hours later it started back up again making ice about every 45 minutes or so without dripping. Then, stopped after filling ice bin half way. Thoughts?
Answer Hello Ed, there is a dual water valve (water dispense/ice maker fill) and water chiller tank to the right of the ice maker in the fresh food ceiling, all water goes thru the chiller tank first then the water valve,, check the tan or tubing near it is frozen and if the dual valve is working correctly.
