Richard B for Model Number 106.76249402 The icemaker on my Kenmorerefrigerator/freezer drips water very slowly into the ice bin for a few minutes after dumping the ice and refilling. It is a very slow drip: one drop every few seconds. The drip stops once the water is frozen. The drip is in the front, right at the "max ice" assembly. Other than that, the icemaker seems to be functioning properly. What are the one or two most likely causes of this? A defective water/solenoid valve? A problem with the icemaker itself, such as a cracked mold? Is there a way to test the water valve for this? Is there a way to repair it?
Answer Hello Richard. If the icemaker is dripping, you will need to order and replace the icemaker on the unit. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Monday, February 10, 2014
