Zeta P. for Model Number Amana TZ21Q The opening from the Water Valve to the plastic ice maker hose has a yellow disc that can move. On this yellow disc was a black mark (obviously made by a "Sharpie"). I left the yellow in place and inserted the metal tube insert into the plastic hose and tightened the compresion nut. Now it is leaking. Where did I go wrong? If the yellow disc was a "packaging" cover, I don't know what would have held the hose on to the valve.
Answer Hello Zeta. The yellow compression fitting does not need the metal insert in the plastic line. You will need to remove the metal insert and push the plastic line down into the yellow compression fitting until it bottoms out. Hope this helps. Read More...
